Created this account just so I could leave this review. New to the area, walked by this happening spot months ago and decided to give it a try. Been here 3x now, each time it just gets better. ( 2 out of the 3 times I've seen celebrities at Honeys! The first time I was there I saw country singer Hardy- 2nd time Joe Musgrove Padres Pitcher) It's a busy spot, with fantastic music which creates such a fun and lively vibe. You order at the counter and then you find a seat, which is great because it's quick and easy, pay for your own tab and then when you're done eating you just get up and leave. I LOVE their acai bowl. They have a coffee bar with different types of coffee. I do believe it's all you can drink. We had their chilaquiles Verdes. (The sauce was so GOOD) We also had their Denver eggs benedict, it was bomb with the thick Canadian bacon + loaded with a bunch of grilled veggies. The only thing - my English muffin was not toasted well but the staff was so accommodating they happily made me a new one, even though they were super busy. The older lady with dark hair is a riot - as well as the rest of the staff! you can tell that everybody enjoys working there. we like observing their banter and they get customers to chime in on their pretend drama. Almost feels like we are at a comedy show- It really is a fun spot (everybody that works there is super cute too) If there's a long line don't let that scare you off. The line moves quick and the turnover on tables happens really fast Enjoy!

An adorable cafe in a super cute and busy area right on the 101! There is a large menu to choose from, you order and pay at the door, then seat yourself. The Denver Benedict was wonderful, and the hot dirty chai with oat milk was super tasty. The pancakes and waffles are a bit on the pricier side, but very good and filling. The only food item we did not enjoy was the Salmon Benedict, everything on the plate was delicious except for the salmon itself. The homestyle potatoes were exceptionally delicious, crispy and flavorful!

Food didn't only taste amazing, but was visually stimulating as well. I had the New Yorker sandwich and I felt like my mouth hit the lottery with every bite. Service without a doubt is . Donette is a pro at what she does! Outside seating was plentiful when we went but it was mid week right before the lunch rush.

Tried this spot for my first time last week. I ordered the Benedict. I am a snob for Benedict's and really have high standards. This was a solid 8/10 for me. You have to order at the counter and seat yourself. Service was standard nothing special. But I will be coming back to try something new.

Huge menu, fast service, and great food! From breakfast to lunch Honey's has something for everyone. It's order at the counter and seat yourself, no wait for us late morning on a Saturday. Street parking but in downtown Encinitas so find a spot and enjoy the historic Main Street.

We've been to many of the breakfast spots on this particular block of Encinitas. This was the last one we wanted to try and stopped there before heading onward. Honey's Bistro was a nice place. You ordered at the counter and found a nice table to wait for your food. I went for the eggs and potatoes and my girlfriend stuck with lunch and had a wrap with fries. It was good food and a nice day outside. I'd definitely tell people to come by.

Occasionally after a long rough shift, my coworkers and I will drop by here for breakfast, since we work night shift and get off during breakfast time. Service has always been absolutely delightful everytime we've been here. The staff is so accommodating and welcoming. The decor of the restaurant is trendy and overall, they provide such a welcoming and cozy atmosphere to unwind in. Food has always been on point everytime we've been here. Very tasty and comforting, with big portions that provide a second meal for many of us. We recently decided to try their mimosas and our server presented the juice in such an aesthetically pleasing way too. Overall, I can't recommend this place enough. A small and cozy space with delicious food. You really can't go wrong here!
